A recent up-tick in business has all employees working at a welcome pace. As business continues to improve, 3-D CNC, Inc. will look for opportunities to increase our capacity and improve our manufacturing technology capabilities to better serve you. We continue to focus on providing minimal lead times and remaining flexible to accommodate a variety of manufacturing challenges.
Welcome New Shop Scheduler
3-D CNC, Inc. would like to introduce you to our new shop scheduler, Cindy Meier. Cindy has been working at 3-D CNC, Inc. since 2005, as an office assistant and shipping clerk. She started her new role as shop scheduler, in December of last year. Cindy has shown an in depth knowledge of computer software applications and has utilized this talent to master our JobBoss manufacturing software system in a short amount of time. Cindy lives in rural Hutchinson with her husband Cory, and two pre-school children, Lucas and Van.
3-D CNC, Inc. Makes the Switch to Cloud Computing
I’m sure most of you have seen and heard about cloud computing. It simply means computing outside the walls of your organization. The concept allows you to utilize the computer storage capacity of an off-site computing hub, thus reducing internal storage requirements within your organization. 3-D CNC, Inc. has made the switch to cloud computing to help save internal server space. We are also excited about the opportunities it will bring us for improved collaboration with customers as well as internal company employees. Besides the file storage benefits, 3-D CNC, Inc. will also take advantage of the potential cost savings in using software-as-a-service(SaaS). SaaS allows you to use software over the internet instead of having the software being hosted within the walls of our organization.
MD&M West Visit
Mike Getzke, Sales Manager of 3-D CNC, Inc., will be making the trip to Los Angeles, CA the week of February 8th, to attend the 2010 Medical Device and Manufacturing Show West. Of interest will be the latest in medical device manufacturing technologies. Along with attending the show, Getzke will be visiting several 3-D CNC, Inc. customers in the Greater LA area.
